Bellotti will not run for Secretary of State

QUINCY -- Norfolk County Sheriff Michael Bellotti will not run for Secretary of State. The Quincy native made the announcement yesterday after talking to current Secretary of State Bill Galvin. He announced yesterday that he will run for re-election and will not run for governor. Bellotti says he has received a number of calls urging him to consider running for either Lieutenant Governor or State Treasurer. He plans to make a decision on those possibilities within the next several days. (WJDA)
